Our mission is to increase the visibility of our temples and to create a broad based awareness that our temples are keepers of our tradition, faith and social culture, and that we need to support all temples as a part of our common objective. We want to encourage the spirit of supporting our temples in the larger interests of our community. While early on in our history, some key individuals took on the initiative to build temples in various cities, the recent arrivals of immigrants may take this for granted and may not have that level of awareness of the critical functions our temples perform in ensuring the survival of Sanatana Dharma. Many of them are not sure what they can do tangibly support and do not get the bigger picture of the role of our temples and culture for our well-being. Shree.com will work with others to bring that awareness to the community at large.

Shree.com is creating a portal of listing of participating Hindu temples. As a service to our community, we are happy to provide free listing for all Hindu temples. Each temple can have its own temple page hosted at Shree.com. This page can share the basic details about the temple and also have a link to the temple's own website. If you are a temple administrator, please contact us at info at Shree.com for details and the free listing.

Shree.com includes a common donation page for all participating temples. When a devotee contributes using this site, the net proceeds of the donation will be forwarded to the temple they designate. Devotees can also choose to contribute to the temple that is in critical need of the funds. These "undesignated" funds will be disbursed to the temple we feel needs it the most based on our discussions with the administrators of various temples. Contributions to the temples may be tax deductible depending on the recipient temple's tax status, and if appropriate, receipt will be sent directly by the temple to the donor.
